I’ve been using OptiMonk for a while now—great features and targeting, but now that my store’s monthly traffic has shot up to ~170,000 views, the cost is getting really steep ($249/month is pushing it). I’m on Shopify, and I need something scalable, still good with gamified popups, targeting, and integrations.
Any affordable OptiMonk alternatives you’d recommend?

RockTheScale4, I’m a UX designer, and I recently switched a client from OptiMonk to Wisepops. Targeting and design freedom are stellar! BUT—it starts at $79/mo and goes up fast. You might still hit $250+ as you scale.
If you’re trying to avoid ballooning costs again, Popupsmart or Convertful might offer more breathing room.
I’m running a multilingual Shopify store, and Popupsmart’s Geo-Targeting is

Also… Unbounce is great if you need landing pages too. Pricey ($74/month for 20K views), but you get both popups + page builder.
I’m a dev and performance is a big deal for me. Popupsmart’s script has been the most lightweight in my tests—it doesn’t mess with page load like some others. If site speed is critical to you (which it should be for SEO), you’ll appreciate that.
Also: the popup builder doesn’t require coding, but still gives advanced control if you want to customize via custom JS.
