Since most of you guys have already mentioned the some alternatives, I wanted to quickly throw in some other good Sleeknote alternatives that nobody’s talking about yet. These might be good for anyone still weighing their options:
Convertful
Convertful is absolutely crushing it for lead capture and has some seriously impressive gamification features like those spin-to-win wheels! Price-wise, it sits perfectly between Sleeknote and Popupsmart.
Super easy drag & drop editor, versatile embedded popups, solid targeting and triggering options, and a really affordable starter plan at just $7 for 10k views!
Unbounce
This isn’t just a popup tool, it’s a whole landing-page & conversion platform! If you need both popups AND landing pages, this could be your perfect match.
TONS of popup and landing-page templates, powerful A/B testing capabilities, and easy triggers like exit-intent, after-scroll, and on-click.
Bu it gets pretty expensive if popups are your main focus ($74/month for just 20k views). Probably overkill if all you’re after is popup functionality.
Thrive Leads (WordPress only)
This is an incredible WordPress-only plugin that’s perfect for WP-focused businesses!!
Amazing variety of popup styles, really cool content locking feature, powerful segmentation options, strong customization capabilities.
ONLY works for WordPress sites, pricing is a bit steep ($99/year) considering you can only use it on one platform, and the interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first.
Picreel
Picreel is surprisingly budget-friendly, especially if you’re just getting started or don’t need super advanced features.
Interactive popup options (timers, CTA buttons), super affordable pricing ($9.99/month for 10k monthly visitors
), basic targeting and integration options.
Poptin
A solid alternative with great features, but watch out - it gets pricey FAST when you scale up!
Advanced targeting capabilities (exit-intent, behavioral triggers), good analytics dashboard, decent popup variety.
The free plan is super limited (just 1K views/month
), and the advanced options jump up in price quickly, which probably won’t work for @RockTheScale4 's 170k views/month.
